Looking for Richard Wagner while strolling through Bayreuth.
Bayreuth, a quaint town nestled in the heart of Germany, is renowned for its cultural heritage and its close association with the legendary composer Richard Wagner. I had the pleasure of experiencing the charm of Bayreuth and capturing its essence through the lens of a Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm lens.
A visit to Bayreuth is incomplete without witnessing the small Wagner Sculpture, we found hidden on our way to the famous Haus Wahnfried.
Richard Wagner, a visionary composer, established the Bayreuth Festival, an annual celebration of his operatic masterpieces, including the iconic “Ring Cycle.” The sculpture serves as a small tribute to Wagner’s influence on Bayreuth’s cultural identity.
Bayreuth, with its historical landmarks and vibrant cultural scene, offers a unique experience to both locals and visitors. My goal was to encapsulate the essence of this remarkable town.
Bayreuth, with its small Wagner Sculpture standing as a testament to the town’s cultural significance, is an awe-inspiring destination for both music enthusiasts and art lovers.
The image shows … the Sculpture of Richard Wagner along the Richard-Wagner-Street and was created using a Sony A7R2 with a Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 2.4/35mm lens.

So long … and thanks for all the fish.
good image with a vintage lens. I believe I have one of these lenses in Exacta mount, or something close to it.
I love those old Carl Zeiss Jena M42 lenses.
